hi, nuance has a great online tool called dragon medical practice edition where you can see the pros and cons of using your dragon product with your mac. they have a workstation on there that compares the three operating systems, dragon, mac os and windows. there is a lot more to it than just the pros and cons, but the biggest issue i have had is that nuance is discontinuing the windows product. they are not going to support it or work on it.

what does the mac os version have over the windows version? for example, if i wanted to use my mac as a pc to use dragon, would that version offer the same features as the windows version? i was thinking of using it with a mac mini and parallels to use as a pc.
i have a windows 10 laptop with a voice recognition program, nuance dragon, and i am considering switching to the mac to use the program. i have never used the mac version of the program before. what kind of issues can i expect? do you think it will work?
i have a up to date hackintosh and have macos monterey 12.1 and was finally able to get v6.0.8 working. of course it was a torrent file, but i went on ebay and found a reseller that offered a brand new licensed copy of nuance dragon professional individual for mac 6 new retail box s602a-g00-6. (without the quotes), for $89.98. this guy has sold 471 so far (might be more since you read this). well it works and everything is up and running again with no issues. using macs siri to do speech to text, monitors everything you say. so, up yours siri!!! at least with dragon professional that wont happen.
